Welcome to our Juneau Snorkeling tour, where adventure meets breathtaking scenery!

Your journey begins with a pick-up from the docking area, where you'll embark on a scenic drive through the stunning Alaskan landscape. As you travel, you'll be awe-inspired by towering mountains, pristine forests, and possibly catch glimpses of local wildlife.

Next, we'll take you on a short walk from a vantage point overlooking the waters of the Alaskan coastline to your snorkeling destination. Prepare to be captivated by the mesmerizing views of the waters stretching out before you, with its shimmering surface, and rugged coastline.

The real excitement begins, when you put on your snorkeling gear and plunge into the waters of Juneau. When you slip into your 7mm wet suits, you’ll be Equipped and ready, to be greeted by a vibrant underwater world teeming with life. From schools of fish darting among the shores, to curious seals and colorful sea stars, creating moments of an unforgettable experience.

After your adventure in the ocean, we'll provide you with some hot chocolate, exc, while you to relive your favorite parts of your snorkeling excursion and share your stories with fellow adventurers. As you reminisce, you may catch an incredible sighting of majestic whales breaking surface.

Requirments:

Must be in good physical health.

Must not have any heart or seizure history.
Must not be claustrophobic.
Must be able to comfortably put your head in the water.
Please check our Wet-Suite sizing.

Welcome to bring under-water cameras.
Any extra clothes you feel you may need: such as undergarments, shorts and a T-shirt if you don’t have a swimsuit.

About your excursion:

TRANSPORTATION

We offer a shuttle service from the cruise ship docks to the our dive site.

The beginning of the scheduled time is the time we are departing from the docks. We please ask that you not be late.

The end of the appointment time, will be the time that you will be arriving back at the docks, to return to your ships.

(please make sure when you are booking that you will be back at the docks at a reasonable amount of time, for your boats departure.)

WHere to meet

We will meet near the harbor, in the parking lot beside “Alasaka Brewing”. (Has a red sign).

There you will see a white passenger van, with the “Juneau Snorkeling” logo, where you will be checked in before departure.

WHO’S GUIDING YOU:

During your beautiful Juneau Snorkeling tour, you will be guided through with an Advanced open water certified, and SSI certified, instructor. All instructors are Snorkel Diver Certified, and CPR / First Aid / AED Certified.

We want to ensure safety during all of our tours, so that you have the best experience possible.

How cold is the water?

The average temperature of our waters is 50 - 55 degrees Fahrenheit, in the summer.

(10 -13 degrees Celsius)

And can reach up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

(15.5 degrees Celsius)

What if i’m not with a cruise?

Whether your local or visiting another way. The pickup location will be the same as all other passengers, or you can contact us about our Snorkeling location, and we can meet you there.

Please Note: The time your excursion is scheduled to end, will be the time you are arriving back at the docks.

What if the weather is bad?

If the weather is bad, meaning any condition that may cause an unsafe expedition, we will unfortunately have to cancel.

However, you will receive a full refund, and offered a re-schedule for another more applicable day.
